Senderos de La Palma

“Footpaths on La Palma ” offers two ways of using geographical information on the island of La Palma 's paths on your computer:

Google Earth route files

The tracks and waypoints are integrated into one file of “kmz” extension. To see them, access the popular free programme Google Earth which allows you to see the routes on a three-dimensional model of the island. Google Earth is available for downloading at www.google.es/earth

GPX route files

GPX or GPS eXchange Format is an XML data format used to transfer GPS points of interest between different applications. It can be used to describe waypoints, tracks and routes

WARNING: The GPX data offered on this page should be taken as a complementary aid to the footpath sign-posting itself, never as a substitute for it. Forest cover or rugged terrain can affect the accuracy of GPS instruments in the field, so that, in case of contradiction with path signs, the latter should be followed. On downloading this data, you agree to accept these limitations and exclude the Island Government of La Palma from all responsibility connected with its use.
